All the Pretty Horses is the second collaboration with Olivia Harris, the first being Impromptu. The form is a fantasia on the folk tune All the Pretty Little Horses, particularly the version as performed by Odetta. It takes into account her unique voice and guitar strumming style and transfers it to the cello.
